Please contact apple on the matter of business registration in your country and the requirements as thats under sole control of apple and country dependent.
Whats normally involved, aside of the 3 times higher yearly fee, is a legally registered company with proof of it and a few other things

business registration costs $299 / year, individual is $99 / year
It’s only $299 if you want to distribute enterprise apps. The standard company enrollment is $99.

Oh there is another license then introduced since then.
Originally only $99 for individual and $299 for any business type registration existed (where all the legalilities etc play in).
That one is new… i got registered as individual like 3 months ago and there was only 2 options…
It will be worth the shift to $99 Company?

Ostwind: it depends on the country.
Here in switzerland it definitely was not present for a long time either, unsure if its now (its not as if the $140 we pay instead of the $99 would be bad enough), as I don’t check it anymore, have my individual, thats all I need.

I have a related but different question. I’m registered as an individual, but I wanted to use a studio name on the app store listing. I’ve never figured out where to enter that information, though I’m mostly certain that it’s allowable.
Any tips?
In the early days, they allowed individuals to have a different display name on the store than their actual “legal entity” name, but they stopped allowing that some time ago. If you’re an individual, both the seller and display name are required to be the same now.
