Pretty straightforward,
When I connect an HDMI connect to my iPad, any scene that utilizes the TouchscreenKeyboard, for instance a UnityGUI Textfield, no longer can be edited from the keyboard.
Funny enough, my delete button works if there is already text in the field, but I cannot use any of the other functions.
Any ideas on this? It’s rather urgent…
One would think someone would want to look into this, as one of the huge benefits of Unity4+ is being able to use AirPlay and multiple displays, but if the keyboard is rendered useless it could be pretty problematic…
So am I under the impression that this is an official Unity3D bug?
Have you reported the bug using the option in the Hep menu of Unity? They probably don’t know about the bug if you haven’t reported it.
I have just tested this with 4.1.3 and 4.2 on iPad 3 with iOS6 and it worked fine. Could you please provide additional info on how to reproduce this?
