Here’s a little Photoshop document template that I made to assist in making icons for iOS, with boarders.
The boarder graphics are all grayscale but are setup with colour-overlays (in the layer styles) so you can easily change the colour scheme to fit your project (like the examples below).
The template is for a 1024 x 1024 icon.
Boarders are high-quality renders, and each style has a Fat and Thin version. They scale down reasonably well and fit the iOS Icon shape.
Thought this might be useful to someone, some day…? who knows.
