iOS Iphone 6 Tree Creator Leafs White/Black

We’ve noticed that the Tree Creator Leaves all turn white or black on the iPhone 6/6s. They retain their alpha however.
It doesn’t happen on Android devices, and my (older) iPad, also doesn’t have this problem.

Did not test on other iPhones yet.

It’s being build on Unity 5.5.
I did not have tree’s included in 5.4 so I don’t know if this problem already existed there as well.

Any idea’s where to start looking for this issue?

Just tried the new patch, since it had some shader problem tweaks (5.5.0p3) but the problem still persists. (only on iPhone6 it seems)

Still the same problem on 5.6 and no fix.

Only happens when using Metal renderer.
Only appears on iPhone 6 & 6s
Only appears with assets created through the treecreator.
At some devices it appears Black at others White.
