The current discounted price for the upgrade from iOS 3 to iOS Pro is $900.
Would someone please advise what the final price for the iOS 3 to iOS Pro upgrade will be when the pre-order discount has ended?

Full price minus what you payed so $1100
But you can’t upgrade to iOS Pro without also upgrading to Unity Pro so if you don’t own unity pro yet its $2600
The current preorder discount upgrade price from “Unity Pro 3.x with iOS” to “Unity Pro 3.x with iOS Pro” is $900.
@dreamora: thanks for the response.
To clarify: are you saying that when the pre-order discount has ended the final upgrade price from “Unity Pro 3.x with iOS” to “Unity Pro 3.x with iOS Pro” will be $1100?
I was under the impression it would be higher.
The price is full price for iOS Pro - what you own.
The full one should be $1499 (same as for unity to unity pro), what you own with iOS is worth $399 without the discount (it will be measured at its real price not the exact value you payed), as such the price should be $1100
EDIT: That is at least how it always used to be.
I currently have 3.x Basic with the iOS addon ($400). Looking at the License Comparison, it seems that the only thing iOS Pro has over Unity Pro is Build Size Stripping. So if Build Size Stripping isn’t a major concern for me, I should just be able to pay the $1500 to upgrade to Unity Pro, right? Or is that just wishful thinking? Would Unity disable the pro features when my target platform is iOS and I haven’t purchased iOS Pro?
I just sent an email to sales, but I thought I’d post here as well in case anybody else has that question. (Actually, I’m just really impatient and would rather get an unofficial response today as opposed to an official response tomorrow) ![]()
In reference to my previous post–it was indeed just wishful thinking. None of the Unity Pro features would be available while building for iOS if you don’t have the iOS Pro addon.
Correct, the pro license unlocks its features only for the platform(s) you own it for
Also, there’s a bit more than just build size stripping, stuff like render textures are also disabled in iOS basic, which is a pretty major feature.
Well, obviously. Just as networking, occlusion culling, and custom splash screens are pretty major features. I was referring to the differences between the features checked in the Unity Pro and iOS Pro columns in the chart on the license comparison page.
networking is available on iOS non pro too, though only the unity networking, not sockets
