iOS Sound MP3 Sample Boundary Looping?

Hi there iOS experts,

I’ve suffered in the past from short MP3 samples being clipped or not looping correctly. In the Unity docs it mentions the sample must end on a “sample boundary” to solve the issue, and states there are many tools to do this, but I don’t know of any, and a google search just came up with small separate tools that I haven’t heard of and don’t know whether to trust.

Can any major audio editors do this natively on export? I have CS4 SoundBooth and SoundForge, but can’t seem to find an option for this. I’d like a trusted integrated solution without messy external tools if possible.

Alternatively, can anyone recommend the best tool to achieve this? (doesn’t have to be free). A joint PC / Mac solution would be ideal.

Thanks for your help!

Richard

No realistic solution has come up yet.

Thanks very much Jessy, I did try to search the forums, but that thread link didn’t come up. Very helpful to know!

Cheers for your time.
