Sorry, iPhone and Touch firmware updates.
Will we get any word from UT re compatibility or do we just jump in and hope for the best?

From first glance it doesn’t look like anything changed for developers, so we should be fine.
I had upgraded to 2.2 before I realized the potential risks. After the upgrade I couldn’t build the Unity project for the iPhone anymore, so my heart slightly plummeted…
Got the following error from xcode: unable to locate a suitable developer disk image
Then I downloaded and installed the latest xcode update, and after a couple of stressful minutes, everything is fine again. Building and running applications works like a charm.
Next time I’ll wait until someone else plunges in first, better for my heart.

jada jada, finally no auto-sms-destruction anymore
But they sadly still didn’t get the fact that europe is pretty much MMS not mail driven on the handy grml
Well, thanks for being the brave early-adopter this time. That’s appreciated! … hope that soothes the heart a little
When you install the new SDK should you uninstall the old version? Or does it automatically replace them. Kinda running low on HDD space
It appears to work OK, I would recommend backing up the ipod/iphone before upgrading.
Any other positive reviews of 2.2 working OK with Unity iPhone 1.0?
It’s pretty time consuming to backup/download/upgrade so I just want to make sure this is recommended at this point.
BTW I read in another thread that there are some positive changes to the App Store in 2.2 where the category listings are not truncated after 100 listings.
Installed 2.2 on 1st gen iPod Touch today.
Unity worked perfectly with the new firmware and the new Xcode. Compiled and runned my apps in no time.
Everything’s fine.
Just upgrade your iPhone firmware to 2.2 and XCode at the same time.
