Hi,
Really basic question that I haven’t been able to find an answer to in searching.
I actually posted a similar question in the android forum but I noticed that the activity (or at least # of posts) is much larger in the iPhone forum so I wanted to try posting here as well.
How big is an app compiled for iPhone Unity using the standard (non-pro) license? It probably varies depending on how much game content there is, but I guess I am curious because after creating a pretty bare-bones app for the desktop using the free version, the entire folder size is ~20 mb.
Also I noticed that the pro version has file size stripping as well so does that mean the standard license app sizes are pretty big?
From at least looking at the list of games for android, it looks like most are larger than 20mb and a few are under 10mb…is it pretty much required to get the pro license to get the file size under 10mb (if the same applies for iPhone)?
Thanks!!
ps: apologies if this is in the wrong forum, but i thought at least in terms of app size produced between the Pro and Standard mobile licenses, the Android and iPhone might be similar.
