Hi. I’m a long-time user of Unity Indie Unity iPhone Basic (now up to V1.7). On the Unity Store I see that I can upgrade my existing Unity and Unity iPhone licenses to 2.6 for $100.
Trust me, I’m not complaining about anything here. I’ll gladly pay that for just about any upgrade. The problem is, I can’t find anything about what is actually being upgraded. V1.7 is still prominently advertised on the Unity home screen like it’s the latest and greatest.
Like I said, $100 bucks for just about any feature upgrade (even if it’s just to keep up with current maintenance) is OK with me. But I don’t want to throw away the money if it’s for nothing more than a version number change to align with the current pricing structure.
So… Are there any functional enhancements between iPhone Basic 1.7 and iPhone Basic 2.6?
