iPhone games chart - best games made with Unity

Let’s track the best iPhone games that have been made with Unity.

The goal is to have the up do date chart. I am going to update it as soon as someone notifies me (just post a comment here) of an updated information.

I use app annie and top app charts/ for tracking.

Realmaze3D was featured by Apple in both Staff Picks and New and Noteworthy, and made it to #32 in Games and was in the top 10 in Adventure.

Well, but topappcharts does not declare any significant achievements. Any ideas why?

Maybe they didn’t start up until after my game had been out for a while? This was in May 2009.

–Eric

Weve just released Zombigotchi and its 1st in the New Noteworthy list for Entertainment  (In UK iTunes that is, not sure about anywhere else)

ok, let’s make a new and noteworthy section until it’s too big.

but let the chart cap at top 30.

deal?

New and Noteworthy:
Deep, Captain Ludwig, Robin Hood : Archer of the Woods

Just an idea, but could you make a page for this on the website somewhere too, instead of only this thread? Might drive some sales for some people.

our game “EGGS”

made #21 in “action” in the US store (jun 10 2010)
and #16 in “arcade” in the US store (jun 7 2010)

we where “new and noteworthy” just about everywhere.

Our games so far:

“Slippy Feet” - March 2009 - pretty early Unity iPhone game, very simple didn’t do much in the charts though

“Roary The Racing Car - Rollin’ Road” - got to number 1 in Kids charts in Croatia, 2 in Nicaragua and Sweden , number 3 in Norway plus number 5 in Finland and number 8 in UK! Still selling ok too.

and a new game not out just yet… I’ll come back and announce this one very soon I hope!

Let’s create a decent chart here first and then move it on the stage

I am adding only games that made it to global top 30 or archived other important awards.
I hope you agree that these limits are fare

I guess when the new and noteworthy section becomes too huge, we’ll flush it and either deprecate or start over with the new apple highlighted ones

Hi!
I Don´t think there is such a thing as “global top” anything.
From my limited experience the metrics that are interesting, at least moneywise, is how well you fare in the US. Roughly 50% of our sales are from the US market.

Pleas correct me if I am wrong.

btw
we have been top 5 in games in Mali for quite some time. I think we may have 3 sales total there

The Package was App Of The Week in June 2010 in the US App Store

Zombieville USA should be in games top 3 rather than 30. (That app-tracking site only started in August 2009, according to their About page, so it doesn’t list Zombieville at its most popular. I think it got to #1 actually.)

–Eric

Yes, I believe Zombieville and Battle Bears were both number one at one point.

Zombieville hit #1 in games yea, #2 overall.

Stick Skater hit #2 overall

Stick Skater Lite hit #1 overall

Snakes and ladders HD hit new and noteworthy, as well as becoming the number one dice game in the US.

Pretty much correct but only because the european charts are scattered into over a dozen ones basically with app trackers not giving a damned about.
Otherwise the USA wouldn’t make it, as europe has twice as many inhabitants and since the crashdown of the US economy a shitload more cash to waste “on goodies” like iOS games

AirAttack HD - hit #1 overall

AirAttack - hit #4 overall

#1 in AppStore: Skee-Ball
#1 in AppStore: Skee-Ball HD
#1 in AppStore: Zombieville USA
#1 in AppStore: Stick Skater Free
#1 in AppStore: AirAttack HD

I absolutely like the trend!

I am still figuring out the best way of implementing such chart. So please, until we have a proper solution, lets make this list alive and up to date.

Thanks
