Iphone memory issue

hi guys i am using iphone 3gs 8gb it is facing some memory problems.it has no apps,no music,no videos,but only 100 photographs but still its showing 3.8gb available out of 6.3gb can any one tell me whats d problem and solve it

my operating system uses 1.1 gb of 8gb earlier ther was not this problem but it is showing just 3.8 gb of 6.3 gb which is actual space available for use
