iPhone Water Surfaces

Hi,

Been reading the forums for answers on how to create a water surface for an iPhone game.

From what I understand, I cannot use the water objects in Unity Desktop in an iPhone deployment (?) - however I can simulate a water surface by using a a per pixel shader (?) if that is the case, can someone point me in the right direction?

There are no pixels shaders for the iPhone right now unless you’re the Unity 3 beta, and even then they won’t run on the devices with the original GPU, and will run slow on everything else. The iPhone Standard Assets contains a solution for water.
