Frankly, it seems deprecated: it gives errors, and apparently it can’t be removed from the project once installed.
Is there a way to take this out?
I tried to remove it, uncheck it in preferences, close and reopen the project, etc. but nothing seems to work.
How do I uninstall this?
I CAN’T COMPILE BECAUSE OF THIS.
I have already deselected it in the Project Settings many times, tried to delete the folder, etc.
I also tried to remove the Project Settings check AND the entire Library folder, and it didn’t work.
IT ALWAYS POPS BACK UP AGAIN, WHICH IS CRAZY NONSENSE.
Please tell me how to remove this.
Please look for Adaptive Performance Samsung Android in the Package Manager and uninstall (remove) it there if it did not work by unticking the Samsung Provider in the Adaptive Performance settings.
The Package is not deprecated. 2.2.1 is the latest version and 3.0.0 is inbound.
Believe me: I tried all the possible configurations of unticking etc.
The thing just doesn’t want to go away.
I also found this: Unity Issue Tracker - Adaptive Performance - Removing the package won't remove the device simulator provider
I mean: if this is working, it’s ok, I’m developing for mobile, so it’s useful. But if it’s buggy and I can’t compile, then I prefer to have no problems and take it away.
I’ll try once again to disable or enable and see if this error goes away.
Is Adaptive Performance 2.2.1? There is a bug which was fixed in 2.2.1 which can lead to AP downloading the wrong AP Samsung provider version in the wrong unity version. What’s the version for AP and Unity?
Thank you for your help, I’ll check it out!
