Hi! I want to use configurable joint and I want to know is it demand more computing power then other joints?
Nobody can answer questions like that because there are too many variables.
Spin up Unity and put together a test scene using that joint and another using another joint and compare the performance with the profiler. Unless you’re talking about lots of joints, you’re likely worrying over nothing.
I believe that in Physx, most of the joints are the same type (configurable under the hood). But you don’t know that for sure so Melv’s advice should be followed.
