Hello,
I just received the following email:
From an email address: Remy.Greene@e-mail.unity3d.com
Is it legit?
Any email sender can enter anything as the sender/return address. It’s almost trivial to fake. Therefore the email address cannot be used to assess whether the email itself is legit.
But since there appears to be no “click here” phishing URL in the email, and since any response will be sent to the email sender address (faked or not) and since the address uses the “unity3d.com” domain which is Unity’s, the sender can be safely assumed to be a Unity employee.
It’s a Unity employee, but don’t expect anything to come of these emails.
Well… I was leaning toward it being legit but I then saw that “GameDevGuild 2057” which is half true - half false and I just couldn’t bring myself to trust it… Maybe I’m just over-cautious here… but it was GameDevGuild 2023…

It’s legit.
Thanks
