I have a script that instantiates many trigger prefabs in designated spots on awake. Does this have more of a performance impact than simply setting the prefabs in unity’s scene view editor (not in-game)? Or does it really not make a difference? Thanks for reading.
Is instantiating prefabs on awake more expensive to performance than setting prefabs in the scene view?
Instantiating Prefab is costly then referencing the gameobject and the enabling and disabling them when needed
