Is it a MUST for a publisher on the asset store to have a URL?

I’m publishing my first asset so I don’t have a website/blog/anything yet.

Must I have a website? - If I don’t have, will it affect my asset being accepted?

Yes for real, the answer to your question is beyond obvious. They require a website and you want to publish, just open a dummy one. In the meanwhile you could also use it to advertise your asset.
