Is it allowed using Unity for creating editor software?

Hello!

Can I use Unity engine for producing an editor software? (a machinima editor with own made GUI) The related parts of the EULA are quite hard for me to understand.

Yes, you can use Unity to make an editor that you provide to your customers. This editor cannot be similar to Unity.
