Is it possible to assign one animation clip curve on one attribute to another attribute?

Hi,

Is it possible to assign one animation curve on one attribute to another attribute? for example, I created a noise animation clip in maya on the position of my object and want to assign it to alpha of my texture.

i think you can replace "localPosition.x" with any proberty u like hope this help!
