Is it possible to create something for the iPhone on windows?

Hi there,

as the title says, just out of curiosity i am wondering if it is possible for a windows user to create things for the iPhone?
or is a mac required at some stage?

OS-X is needed at some point and time.

Use VMWare and run a virtual mac, works for me.

Does it work well? I can’t try it because I have an AMD processor and my laptop is too old, but it’d be interesting to hear how viable an option it is. There’s no barriers with the xcode/apple developer license etc?
