We are a non-profit cultural association, and we have developed and tested an application with Unity using Vuforia, about augmented reality culture to be able to have information about shields and coats of arms in the town.
The development with Android has been perfect since there are many videos and help.
To be able to make the same application in iOS, that’s where I’m lost. I would like to do it from a Windows PC, and I don’t know if it’s possible with Unity6 since it’s a multiplatform system.
Thanks
Making iOS app requires Xcode. Unity can only produce Xcode project on Windows, but you need Mac to build it and an actual app and deploy to iPhone.
Thanks, I understand. Our organization does not have a Mac. Would it be possible to hire someone with a Mac to do it for us? Could you help us? Thanks.
Yes it’s possible.
When it comes to building for iOS, look into Unity Cloud Build (or another build solution) as they greatly simplify the build process.
At the very least though, you’ll need an ‘i’ device to test builds (using TestFlight)
I´ll check it . Do you know if there are some explaining videos?
I’m sure there are although it’s easy to understand and work with.
