I’m trying to replicate anamorphic lens flare using Flare component, currently I’m using regular square image for the flare, but it just causing unnecessary overdraw since anamorphic flares are usually long and thin, so drawing them on a square image will result in a lot of unused space.
So, is it actually possible to have non square flare?
Not using the built in flares, no. You’ll want to write your own or try an asset from the store.
I thought so too…
Oh well, atm, I’ll just stick with the built in flare…
