Is it possible to make a disk hole inside a box using ProBuilder?

Hello guys,
Do you probably know how to make a shape like the upper image using ProBuilder? It’s a box with a disk hole inside it. I’ve tried to figure it out but I couldn’t find out a way.

Why using ProBuilder for that? Can you simply use custom mesh?

Can you adjust the side number using custom mesh? If making that using Probuilder was possible, I could make various shapes like that.

You can use most 3D software to make any mesh shape you like.

With pro builder, you are limited by the scale.

I know but sometimes I feel like modeling a mesh within an editor because exporting and importing are a pain.

The boolean operator is probably the easiest route to take for this purpose. I don’t know if it still persists in lastest version of probuilder. For more details, you can check here: Boolean (Experimental) window | Package Manager UI website

Also, do a quick google search for it, there is plenty of tutorials too.

I’ve already tried out the boolean operation in ProBuilder but the result is so messy. I don’t want to use it.

I’ve also googled it but I wasn’t able to find any tutorials about how to make such a shape except for using boolean tool.

The boolean operator in probuilder sometimes results in messy polygons yes.
In that case, I can not think any other way than using external software with a proper boolean operator. Of course, you can start with a cylinder duplicate top and bottom vertices and manually adjust positions of all but this may take lots of effort.

All lead to use at most simply 3rd party 3D tool.
Like blender for example, if considering free usage.

They have been designed, to deal with optimal mesh manipulations.

Blender could be a good choice. If some of Blender’s modeling features were available in Unity it would be great, though.

Unity is not meant to be 3D modeling tool. We have plenty choices already.

Pro builder is a bonus. Not so long ago it was even paid.
