Is it possible to receive a Unity Pro Trial extension?

My team is in need of an extension of the Unity Pro Trial. Since it was strictly a date-based trial, for almost the entire duration we weren’t in active development and so the trial ran out before we could try it.

Now that our game is almost finished a year later, I wanted some time to toy with what Unity Pro offers to determine if it will be invaluable or not for our first project so we can decide if we need to buy it and implement its effects before release.

Before someone says this is the wrong section, I contacted support about this, and they told us to contact sales. So I did, and they never even acknowledged our e-mail. No reply at all. That was 8 long days ago.

Does this mean there are no extensions under any circumstances? Anyone have experience with this?

Nope, unless your have another PC and another email to spare. If there was a pro ‘extension’ everyone would be on it.

Direct contact with Unity seems the right way to go. After all, they usually behave quite friendly with their users. Try sending that mail again, and if nothing happens recontact support.

They do extend trials if you explain nicely why you need it.

If you need an extension that bad, you could pretend you’re a new person, and sign up for another 30 days of unity pro! But I’m pretty sure you’ll want to get the full version if you plan to build and distribute your game :-0
