Hi there,
I am hanging to try out the beta of Unity 3 but I was wondering is it possible to keep my install of unity iPhone 1.7 just in case something goes pear shaped or am I stuck with 3 once I install it?
Thanks
Pete

Never tried this, but I read a few times that you can rename the old Unity iPhone (in Applications) and then install. That way you should still have both.
But maybe wait until someone who has actually tried it replies ![]()
I had Unity 2.6 and Unity iPhone 1.7 installed. When I installed the beta yesterday the 2.6 Version was updated to 3 and and iPhone 1.7 was left untouched. So yes, you can use Unity3 beta and iPhone 1.7 at the same time on the same system, but it’s probably a bad idea to point both Versions at the same project folder.
The first thing I did after installation was to create a separate folder for beta3-projects, export my current project as package from 1.7, create a new project in 3beta in its own folder and imported that package.
Cool so I can do it but I just have to rename the unity 1.7 application file name to another name before I install?
