Is it worth combining texture nowaday?

Hi, im a 3D Designer. In my early day of career, i was always taught to combining texture for better performance , reduce draw calls to be exact. But recently with the help of SRP and Dynamic Batching. I run a few test between combining or not game texture, and see no different at all. That bring me to question what the point of combining texture ( atlas or array …etc ) except for the size of the game.
