Everything looks the same except the font… 
Yep, only the pro version has the Dark UI
it looks the same as 2.6 yes. the font looks different cause it now uses the OS native font rendering

Yes it did. I dislike the decision for it to be pro only!
Changes in how things are browsed, audio reworked (I don’t know if the settings actually have an effect in indie since I haven’t used sounds yet). Otherwhys why reinvent the wheel.

Lol, then that just makes everything else dark (including the font)
And unfortunately it seems to have chosen a rather ugly font!

and its the system default, call microsoft if you have a problem with their choice (should be arial I think)
I rather like the font in windows 7.
