Hi,
I’ve downloaded the 4,3,4 windows installer 5 times now, once a few days ago and 4 times in the last hour. Every single time the installer fails its integrity test. The last time I downloaded it to a separate partition on my harddrive and that still failed, so hopefully its not a problem with my hardware. The only thing I haven’t tried is to download it with a different browser (using Firefox)
Has anyone else had problems?
Anyone feel up for downloading it and seeing if they have the same issue?
I’ve had no problems. Whats your system/OS setup? 64 bit/ 32 bit, windows? mac? unix running wine? Can you download other large files no problem?
I’ll start d’ling again now, and i’ll report back if I have problems.
EDIT: PS gonna take me roughly 2 hours to DL on my current net connection…
Switched to Chrome and that download seemed to work ok. Not really sure what the issue was, though interestingly when trying to delete some of the old downloads the recycler complained that one was still in use by my anti-virus caching function, it also took a good couple of minutes for the download to switch from chromes crdownload format into the unity installer .exe. So i’m wondering if the installer simply wasn’t ready or my anti-virus was trying to scan it internally and that being over a GB in size now that takes time.
