The minutes posted from the lastest post suddenly went from 1 minute to 23 minutes after a httpd server 504 error. The 504s have been happening for a while now.
I have actually been getting a lot of 503 bad gateway errors, but no 504s. There have been so many problems ever since UDN was introduced.
Hmm, maybe I got 503s too. I forget. I just know the timestamp suddenly was wrong by 23 minutes.
I’ve been told that every Unity asset that wasn’t free is now a bit torrent but I didn’t ask where. Also, unrelated to that or Unity, a colleague had his server hacked and a spammer set up a separate mail server on his server. They got in via a old system account with default passwd that the host provider should have known better and prevented.
So periodically inspect your servers yourself by shelling in when the web GUI is insufficiently flexible to allow for inspection.
