Is there a technical reason why there is no Multiply mode in VFX Graph? Could it be added?

At the moment there is no Multiply mode in VFX Graph. Mutiply mode is perfect for things like blood - it looks semi transparent and it always blends well in the environment without hitting the cost of “real” lighting.

If I make a custom shader graph it all SEEMS to work.
Can it be added? Or is there some technical reason I’m missing why this is complicated?

The blend mode setting is common between HDRP/URP Lit output. Multiply isn’t present in HDRP and that’s why it isn’t appearing in the Blend Mode of URP Lit.

Now it’s not a good reason :sweat_smile:
As you said, currently the solution would be to use a Custom Shader Graph. I will ask to see if this can be easily added to the URP lit outputs.
