Is there a Unity macro recorder?

That’s the way I learned VBA and maxscript. It made learning a lot easier. I’m just wondering if there’s something like that for Unity3.

Nope; you can create editor scripts to automate various things, but that wont help you with the learning objective. Unity’s scripting languages are much more than just a way of automating in-editor actions, so that would be a pretty limiting way to learn even if it were possible.
