Is there a Unity Version Control tool for Visual Studio?

I couldn’t find any such tool although the VS installer mentions a “Plastic SCM” extension.

Neither can I find any information on how to access and configure that extension that I installed.
Any pointers to the right direction would be appreciated. Thank you.
