I’m actually trying to apply a decal made from a shader to a transparent object but the decal projector doesn’t want to let me use the affect transparency checkbox despite the material in the shader graph being listed as an HDRP/Decal Material.
Any Help ?
Hello, I’m not sure, I’m the right person to help. As you seem to have trouble with HDRP and Shader Graph, I would suggest that you change the Tag of your Topic, as it doesn’t seem to be relative to VFX Graph. That being said, I’ve tried on my end successfully on Unity with an HDRP project:
If this setup doesn’t work, please share more information and details and don’t hesitate to change the tags of your Topic so that the right Unity staff take a look into it.
Have a nice day.
Hi, first of all thanks for the reply, I’ll try to use your method and second what tag do you advise me to use on this Topic ?
It’s a rendering question in an HDRP project, and it’s about a Shader Graph decal. So you could use tags like Shader-Graph and/or HDRP. I hope you get that’ll be able to quickly solve your issue.
Good day.
I’ve just tried recreating your shader but the affect transparency do not show. Am I missing something ? by the way what version of unity are you using the issue might come from that…
I’m using the latest Unity 6 version.
Thanks for the quick reply that might solve my problem i’ll check if i can upgrade my project
