Is there a way of marking surfaces for lightmapping?

To lightmap a scene, is it necessary to first select the surfaces, then use bake selected? Or can poly surfaces be marked for lightmapping elsewhere in the ditor, so that when the time comes for baking, the Bake button can be used on the entire scene? I was kind of hoping that for each surface, there’d be a lightmap check box…

Ah…

It seems that does what I want. I saw that checkbox but it didn’t occur to me that it was for lightmaps. If it had been called “Allow Lightmapping” I would not have asked!
