Is there a way to debug the iOS simulator with MonoDevelop?

After checking out answers and the forum for a bit I was unable to find much about this topic and I want a definite answer.
If it’s not possible and anyone knows of a way to do this without monodevelop but with similar functionality that’d be great if you could help.

Got an answer from Unity’s tech people and they said that you can’t debug the simulator with mlnodevelop.
