Is there a way to destroy a collider with the number of items in your inventory?

In my game I have a sphere collider and I was wondering if there is a way to destroy it when the player has 2 items in their inventory.

this is my Item Script:

	void OnTriggerEnter(Collider other)
	{
		if (other.tag == "Player")

			other.GetComponent<Inventory>().itemNum ++;
			Destroy(gameObject);
		}
	}
}

Here is my Inventory Script:

	public int itemNum = 0;
	
	void Update()
	{
		print (itemNum);
	}
}

Use the Destroy() method with the collider as parameter:

if (other.GetComponent<Inventory>().itemNum == 2){
    sphereCollider = GetComponent<SphereCollider>();
    Destroy(sphereCollider);
}

EDIT: added check for itemNum = 2
