Is there a way to make this window behaviour default?

Hello,

I use two monitors and I’ve been annoyed with the fact you can’t use Windows multi-tasking snap with other windows. I realized I can use WinExplorer to change the window to how I’d it like to function:

but it seems like this might be an option hidden somewhere.

I’d really love to know how you did that!

Unity’s multi-window setup is pretty garbage. Having the second window actually behave like a window instead of a floating modal thing would help a bunch.

I used a program called WinExplorer.

The subordinate window show up as “UnityContainerWndClass” then I made the style and extended style settings identical to the main window:

Do it in order, sometimes it shows different settings. Once you’ve set them you need to drag the window for the changes to show up.
