Is there an upgrade option for iOS and Android licences?

I will probably be purchasing the Pro version of Unity eventually, but in the meantime I’d like to try basic development on the Android (or possibly iOS).

If I spend the $400 now, will I still need to spend $1500 later for the pro version of the platform specific license, or is there some sort of upgrade available?

The upgrade price is usually the difference in price between the two versions (so $1500-$400=$1100).
