I downloaded a free model off the internet, but sadly it only comes in a .max file, so I would really appreciate it if someone could convert it for me. File format that it’s converted to isn’t important as long as it’s compatible with Unit.
Thanks in advance!

Can you tell what the source of the model was? Since you can never know for sure if these “free” models were legally uploaded in the first place.
Also, my first impression from the model was that it will require much more work to be compatible with Unity than just converting formats.
Here’s the source. If you can convert the format, I can handle the rest of the compatibility but what do you think won’t be compatible? And thank you so much for taking the time to do this.
Seems legit. What about other concerns, well, it is poorly optimized. 200K triangles even with subdivision modifiers turned off, composed of about 40 objects, almost none of them were UV mapped. Coloring mostly comes from Vray materials which obviously arent supported by Unity. It was made for pre-rendered illustrations, not realtime 3d.
Anyways, here is as .obj,.dae and *.fbx: car Try to make use of it, you’re welcome
