Hey, that’s what Unity said when canceled Runtime Fee:
After extensive consultation with our games community and customers, we’ve decided to cancel the Runtime Fee.
This means there will be no Runtime Fee associated with games created with any version of Unity, including Unity 6 when it releases later this year. Unity 6 is the most stable and performant version of Unity to date, and we want everyone to be able to access it without hesitation.
We are making a non-game app, an educational app, learning app.
Would like to know if Runtime Fee canceled for us as well?
Answer from Unity officials here would be perfect, but they do not respond to emails.
