Is this a 5D game then?

Anyone remember an old arcade game by Namco from 1991 called ‘StarBlade’ ?

I was mucking about with my 2D shooter game and I got a little bored with the 2D back-drops so I created them in 3D as I imagined it would be easier for me, so I thought your little space fighter could fly over giant spaceships in the level shooting as you go to an ending boss, I was fiddling with my player controls to also shift the back-grounds or rather the 3D space-cruisers in scene and that was fine then for the hell of it rotated the camera to get my star-field effect to show a bit more and I came across… well by happy accident I created what you see below, I may continue with it like this or what I’ll most likely do is finish it in the traditional 2D sense with my 3D backgrounds and then freak out the camera for fun, I dunno… either way it’s moving along and my game is called Galaxy Pilot

game looks cool.

still 3d.

Why would this be considered 5D?

Probably just to get everyone’s attention.

Pretty good. Would be better if it were 10D tho.

Or 11D

Nah. 11D is a little overblown. 10D just sits in the pocket.

Its only 5D if you can taste the laser
