Is Unity going to join the Microsoft Cloud developer computer?

There is a cloud developer computer from Microsoft but it only has Unreal preloaded for some reason:

Microsoft Game Development Virtual Machine

The alternative is Shadow PC which is £30 per month. And has GeForce GTX 1080. I’m guessing you could buy a similar PC for about £500. So this seems like not a good deal unless you really needed to be on the move a lot.

If I need to run some fast algorithms or train some neural networks, I can just use Google Colabs or something. But you can’t test games on it.

Ideally I’d like a cloud PC for £20 a month with RTX 3080 graphics. Really only needed to for game testing on a high end computer without actually having to buy one.

Anyway… just interested if anyone knows why the Microsoft product is Unreal only. just curious.

You can customize it so it’s not like it’s only viable for Unreal Engine.
