Hi
So for 2 days now I have been trying to get the unity water to work with custom meshes for my rivers and nothing i tried worked.
Only thing that works is using the prefab or the unity waterplane as a base.
So i thought maybe i could import the base into blender reshape it a bit and …no it fails.
So i tried to just swap out the mesh in the prefab with my own…NO
So i thought maybe its the uv’s somehow so i imported it into blender again and screwedup the uv’s and it still worked .
I am tugging out my hair trying to figure this out so is it just impossible to use custom meshes with water in unity or is there a step i am missing.
Here are my steps
1 import mesh
2 choose water layer
3 apply the unityprowater material
4 apply water script
Thats all i know to do but it does not work.
