It just keeps getting more and more broken. I came back after Christmas to find ~400 email notifications from UnityAnswers, 99% of which were for questions that I am not subscribed to. It even says “You are not subscribed to this question” when I click the link. Yet now it insists on sending notifications for questions I’ve never even looked at, for no apparent reason. I haven’t changed my settings. (Well, I did now, since I apparently have to disable notifications entirely in order to avoid being spammed relentlessly.)
There’s a long, long list of bugs and glitches in one of the questions somewhere on UnityAnswers, none of which have been addressed for ages. Surely you guys don’t find this level of extremely poor quality to be acceptable for an official Unity product?
This stared happening to me yesterday. I’ve tried unsubscribing to everything and they just keep coming. I’ll have to block Unity Answers if this keeps up.
started to happen for me 2 days ago too cause a save approved an answer.
Perhaps a ‘moderation spam protection’ feature that shall notify us to keep an eye on someone? Or we got notified cause the system auto approved a pile of answers that had good standing and answers.
anyway I would like to get rid of this flood too without disabling notifications.
