Hi everyone.
I dowloaded Unity 3.1 and when I go to open a file, I can’t find the folder that the example Unity projects are saved in. I found the bootcamp folder but can’t find the actual file to open.
Furthermore, I can’t find the island demo at all.
I found an earlier version from Unity 2, but I get a bunch of errors when trying to run it.
Is there anyway I can still use that demo or not?
Thanks.

Does the island demo work for anyone else in Unity 3?
I noticed this too. in previous versions of unity, it’s load up a project file on your first run. now it’s simply hidden very well. do a search for unity on your windows drive. that’s how i found it in the end. it’s somewhere in c:\users\
The island demo is for Unity 2.x, not 3.x
you could convert it up but several of the shaders do not work any longer and you will need to create own ones
