Many of the most difficult tasks on this project were solved thanks to the great people on this forum.

First problem I see is the shadows + I don’t see any way to get this demo in 1920x1200 fullscreen with fantastic quality.

The game consumes a lot of processing power. And it works fine on all intel macs with the default quality settings (Good - 800x600).

If you want to have better shadows and even anti-aliasing or a bigger resolution window, you will need a powerful computer.

I have quadcore extreme processor and Dual SLI Geforce GTX280

Thats not the problem, but you don’t even get the OPTION to choose another resolution or fullscreen

So I cannot even test

Please press the Option (Alt) key while starting up the game. It will show the quality settings intermediate window you want.

It should. As soon as you run the .exe hold Alt and an options window should popup.

Now it deoes indeed work.Its a hard trick but it works if you’re fast enought.

I do still get strange screen artifacts (in 1920x1200 they are at the bottom of screen now)

Also, the road flickers a lot (probably no mipmaps) and the shadows are of extremely low res. These are actually all just settings, noting to do with the building quality of the game.

Question: I adore the island itself. How do you auto-generate that? And what grass texture and foliage textures do you use to blend nicely the grass with the green underground?

Like to know something more.

This looks really great. I’m away from my machine at the moment but as soon as I get back I’ll be taking it for a spin… can’t wait.

Unfortunately we don’t have Windows computers to test the game. But I would like to better understand the flickering you mention. Does it happen also at the original settings?

The grass texture is just a color modification of the original one hat comes with Unity.
