ISSUE: Unity games crash in startup. (Steam)

Since the last update I have 2 games on steam that crash on startup. Empyrion Galactic Survival and Oxigen not Included. Both log after crash say: CSteamworks.dll caused an Access Violation (0xc0000005)

I have researched and many other games using Unity have the same exact problem.

I have managed to get Empyrion going to the main menu using this :

start Empyrion -lazyws as a .bat file.

But the game still crash giving the same error when clicking New game.

All my drivers and windows update are up to date. I also tried to turn off all sort of firewall and running as admin with no success.

Some devs from Empyrion also said that running it in directX 9 could fix the problem but it didn’t for me.

So far that is all I got. Please tell me what I can do to help solve this problem. I am not the only one experiencing this but I’ll be glad to help.
