Issue with display after splash screen but before scene starts (GearVr on S6)

When building for GearVR and running on a Samsung Galaxy S6, just after the splash screen but before the scene has loaded, a wall is displayed infront of me.

The wall has a random texture from the scene on it and only seems to appear in one eye (the other is just white)

I’m using Unity 5.1.1 and mobile sdk 0.6.0.1 with the Unity Integration package at the moment but have had this issue since Unity 5.0.

This issue also seems to occur in new projects.

Has anyone came across this issue? Any fixes / work around for it?

If you have a project in which you can build and run and reproduce the issue, please file a bug report. Also, is this happening with the Unity Native integration of GearVR or only with the Oculus GearVR Plugin?

I’ve created a bug report.
It occurs when using the plugin, I’ve also run the app on a Nexus 4 which is an older phone and not a gear vr supported phone and I don’t get the issue. This issue may be Galaxy S6 specific.
