Hello, I am an absolute beginner in coding with Visual Studio and would appreciate some help. I was wondering if anyone ever had any problems with Emmet as regards formatting. It was all working fine until an hour or so ago when I started getting the message “Extension Emmet cannot format” any time I tried to do so. Sorry that I cannot supply any further information than this as it seems to have happened out of the blue! Thanks in advance for any repsonses!
I have never heard of Emmet. I suggest you work through all the basic beginner tutorials before integrating third party tools, something which is likely to be a massive waste of time until you understand how Unity works.
Thank you very much for your advice! I had thought that “Emmet” was the default formatter with VScode, as I have not installed any additional extentsions that I am aware of.
