Issue with rotation of an animation

Why does that happen and how to solve this?
Model is totally fine.
However I place the model and apply that animation it plays rotated (front is the red arrow). Any ideas? :expressionless: I tried everything already.

I found soution to this problem, but I still don’t understand why that occurs.
Before I used avatar of a biped model to play this animation in Mecanim system (it was made for this biped).
I changed avatar to animation file biped. Then it was screwed (couldn’t get right T-pose).
Then I updated back with old biped model avatar and the animation was aligned properly.

So basically I have to create avatar of existing animation and then update it with regular model avatar. Why? I don’t get it why it works like that :(…
But at least that solved problem with aligment.
